A set of books tells you what happened.

The questions that decide what happens next (whether to hire, whether to borrow, whether the margin is real) need someone who reads the numbers as management information. That is the work we do, alongside the audit, the returns and the filings.

The shape of the year, not a calendar. Exact obligations and due dates depend on turnover, registration and category.

The gap

Eleven questions your annual accounts will not answer.

  1. Is the business financially healthy, or just busy?
  2. Where exactly is profitability leaking?
  3. Can we afford the next hire, and when?
  4. Is the current structure still the right one?
  5. Which entity form fits what we are becoming?
  6. Is the tax position planned, or merely filed?
  7. Would we survive a funding diligence today?
  8. Can the business scale without breaking?
  9. Are the systems ready for twice the volume?
  10. What should management actually be tracking?
  11. Which risks would hurt us most, and are they covered?

Most of these are answerable from information a business already produces. The work is in asking them on a schedule, and in having someone who reads the answer.

Stage

Where is the business right now?

Typically relevant

    What usually goes wrong

    Services

    What we do.

Four categories. Open the one that matches your question, each lists what is included and, where it matters, what is not.

    Self-assessment

How ready is the business to scale?

Ten questions, about two minutes. No email required, the result is yours whether or not you ever get in touch. Nothing you enter leaves your browser.

    What the assessment looks at
Visibility Margin by product, customer and month 42 Control Receivables, approvals, documented limits 58 Compliance Filings current and tracked, not remembered 74 Structure Entity, ownership and personal separation 66

An example result. Your own answers produce your own four scores, on screen, with nothing submitted.

    Method

    How we work.

We cannot publish client names, figures or awards; professional guidelines do not permit them. What we can describe is how we work, which is the more useful thing to judge a firm on anyway.

    • Questions before services

Our first conversation is about the decision you are trying to make. The scope follows from that, not from a standard package.

    • Management information as a deliverable

We build monthly reporting you can read in ten minutes, rather than reformatting a statutory file.

    • Plain language

We explain advice in the terms you actually make the decision in. If an explanation needs a glossary, we have not finished it.

    • Compliance treated as a floor

We track filings, registers and deadlines as routine, so our time with you goes to the business rather than to catching up.

    • Stated scope

Where another professional or a government portal does the work, we say so plainly at the outset.

    • Continuity

We build engagements to run over years. An adviser's value compounds with how well they know your business.

    Toolkit

    India business & tax toolkit.

Six calculators and a verified directory of official Government of India portals. Free, ungated, and useful whether or not we ever speak.
